About the State of the Sector
Each year, the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment releases the State of the Sector, a report that details how the public sector is observing the public sector principles described in the Public Sector Act 2009.
Public sector agencies are surveyed each July, which informs the contents of the report.
The State of the Sector should be read together with the Workforce Information Report to provide a holistic and comprehensive picture of the public sector workforce.
