The Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program is for established leaders committed to accelerating their leadership capabilities.
During this ten-month program participants will develop the consciousness needed to navigate complex leadership challenges and develop the maturity, judgement and interpersonal awareness required of an exceptional leader.
The Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment is proud to offer two full scholarships for the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program each year.
Scholarships are available to South Australian government employees who are ASO6 (or equivalent) and above, and identify as being one or more of the following:
- female
- LGBTIQA+
- living with a disability
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- from a culturally and linguistically diverse background
- from an underrepresented age group within the workforce.
The program consists of:
- Dynamic and interactive format
Topical seminars, field trips and retreats. Lively discussions and group case study work. - Exposure to leading industry experts
Hear from over 30 guest speakers who are leaders in their field including the Governor, political, industry and community leaders and entrepreneurs. - Immersive experiences
Visits to Government House, regional areas, Aboriginal communities, leading industries and social service providers. - Reflection and integration
Undergo a 360-degree Leadership Circle and receive individual coaching. Grow via others’ experiences and reflecting on personal learnings.
The GLF is a ten-month commitment.
The program is valued at $14,450 +GST, with the cost being covered in full by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment for the two successful scholarship recipients.
