HR Essentials for leaders in the public sector
HR Essentials is a self-paced online course designed to equip South Australian public sector managers and leaders with essential human resources (HR) knowledge and practical tools to manage people effectively and confidently.
Intended learners
HR Essentials is designed for South Australian public sector managers and leaders who have direct staff management responsibilities and want to strengthen their HR capability and confidence.
Note: Participation is compulsory for people enrolled in the Manager Essentials program.
Course overview
The course consists of six modules aligned to key stage of the employment life cycle.
Modules vary in length. You can complete them in one sitting or across multiple sessions to suit your schedule.
- Estimated completion time: 2.5–3 hours
- Assessment: A final quiz is required at the end of Module 6
- Certificate: A certificate of completion will be issued when you finish the course
- Recording completion: Select the Confirm completion button at the end of the module.
